What is the best way to apply my Shea Butter Baby products?
We recommend gently exfoliating before use of any skincare product, using our Sisal Pouch, sponge or textured cloth, 2-3x per week for normal skin types. This removes excess skin buildup, commonly associated with dry or flaky skin and allows for maximum product absorption. After cleansing, rub a generous amount of Whipped Body Butter as needed and seal it with our Nourishing Face & Body Oil for added moisture and/ or relief.
Where do you source your ingredients?
Our high quality ingredients are sourced from within the United States. We strive to ensure that are products are ethically sourced.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Since our products are made with natural ingredients and minimal preservatives, we recommend discarding products after 12 months of opening.
Is the Body Butter safe for use on the face?
Absolutely - Our Cocoa and Calendula whipped body butter is fragrance free, intensely hydrating and provides soothing moisture that is suitable for full body use. We do recommend applying very little to the face, as this product is highly emollient and is intended to deeply moisturize. For facial products, consider our Nourishing Face and Body Oil.
Are Your products safe for babies/ sensitive skin?
Not only are our products safe for babies and toddlers, they were created with them in mind! Formulated to moisturize dry and/or sensitive skin, we are confident that each product we make is gentle enough for delicate skin, yet effective on all skin types! Of course, we recommend patch testing any new skincare product, to ensure there is no reaction, but we have received amazing feedback from our Shea Butter Family thus far!
*We do not recommend use of Body Scrubs on children
Since we do not use preservatives or waxes in our scrubs and butters, in some instances, they may melt during transit. This is mostly the case during warmer months. To lessen the chance of this happening we do suggest priority shipping for these items. If your product has melted or appears less full, it is because the air that is infused during the “whipping” stage has condensed and has caused the product to lose some volume. Rest assured that they are still safe to use and amazing for the skin. If you prefer a fluffier scrub or butter, you can cool the containers in the refrigerator for a few minutes and whip with a hand mixer.
Our Shea Butter Family absolutely love our products and we hope you will too! We take extra care in ensuring only the best ingredients are used, so if in the rare instance you are unsatisfied, or experience a reaction to one of our products, please let us know. For sanitation purposes, we are unable to accept skincare products but are more than happy to speak with you regarding other options!
Kindly know that- In the case of an item needing to be returned, all returns must be shipped at your own expense; we cannot accept packages shipped C.O.D. Once the original product(s) are received by us, you will receive a credit in the amount that you paid in the form of your original payment. Please allow 2 weeks for the credit to appear on your account.
When will my order be shipped?
Please note that each of our products are handmade and made to order, so processing may take up to 14 days. This may vary depending on the items you have purchased. We appreciate your understanding and strive to have products packaged, labeled and shipped within two weeks, but most times sooner!
You will receive a confirmation and tracking email once your item has been fulfilled and shipped. Be sure to verify the shipping address entered is correct. Any orders needing to be reshipped will incur an additional shipping fee.

Can I edit, change or cancel my order?
Currently, we cannot edit to add items to an order, but we can help you cancel your order and reorder. For reorders or cancellations, please email us at Orders@sheabutterbaby.com as soon as possible after placing your order, and we’ll do our best to help, given that it has not yet shipped.
